Why go natural?
I hear it day after day... "Chris why do you stress so much over using natural ingredients?". To me, it's a straight forward answer but to someone new to the soap game, there may be some confusion. Most commercial soaps bought from large stores are packed with chemicals and detergents. SLS and SLES comes to my mind when I think about just a few of these horrible ingredients. Sodium Lauryl (Laureth) Sulfate (or SLS) is usually found in combination with cocamidopropyl betaine (cocabetaine) and diethanolalamine (DEA), which is found in these large commercially made soaps. These detergents are used to create large amounts of lather in soaps, but what most people don't know is you're actually robbing your skin of oils it needs to stay healthy. Try pronouncing those large words too... thats what I thought.
